RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Yard Person – This role brings together heavy building materials to service our local customers with the right knowledge and advice. It’s all about handling stock to minimise waste, monitoring stock levels, providing efficient and timely service and delivery to our customers. Medium Rigid & Forklift Licence Essential

Retail Assistant / Counter Sales – We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and customer service oriented person to bring together all things hardware to service our local customers with the right knowledge and advice. In this highly active role, you will assist with counter sales, loading orders, picking and packing, and manual handling of goods.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Physically fit with the ability to safely lift loads and manually handle goods
High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors
High level of organisational skills with ability to work autonomously
Great customer service
Manual licence essential

Essential for the Yard Person role:

Medium Rigid Licence (MR)
Forklift Licence (LF)

Truss & Frame Fabricators - Darwin

We are looking for passionate and dynamic people to join our Truss & Frame division we have opportunities in our Timber section as a Truss Plant Worker or in our Steel Frame area as a Fabricator.

Our Truss Plant Workers are responsible for putting together home truss and frames ready for the builder. You’ll be operating cutting machinery, welding (for our steel production) and other power tools in these roles, so safety is a key component of this role. Prior experience with Jig setting and Timber Truss fabrication, or prior experience welding, cutting and Steel Truss fabrication is highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Cutting and assembling frames and trusses – Steel or Timber
Picking timber orders and general yard work
Welding experience (Essential for Steel Frames)
Ensure product is handled safely to prevent injury and damage to product.
Prior experience is not essential for someone who is handy with tools that’s keen and eager to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Utilisation of various hand and power tools for assembly is part of the everyday
Physically fit with the ability to safely lift loads and manually handle goods
High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors
Prior welding experience (Steel frames)
Forklift Licence (LF) Advantageous

Yard Person - Darwin

We are looking for an energetic and passionate person to join our team as a Yard Person. This role brings together heavy building materials to service our local customers with the right knowledge and advice.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Receive, move, relocate, store and load stock in keeping with the company workplace health and safety practises
Prepare orders for delivery in an accurate and timely manner, including being appropriately packaged for transport
Collate and load customer orders ready for delivery or pick up by customer
High level of customer service to all internal and external customers at all times
Have a commitment to ongoing job security

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors
Physically fit with the ability to safely lift loads and manually handle goods
Exceptional attention to detail coupled with high level of accuracy
Manual Vehicle Licence Essential
